The main focus of the BC4ESE project is meeting the needs of organisations from the western Balkan region that are working with young people. Local organisations need support in raising their capacities so they can be spearhead in implementing new non-formal learning activities. By fostering cooperation between eight partners project will contribute to the development of cross-border cooperation and raising the capacity of organisations both from Program and Partner countries.
Through BC4ESE project we aim to build capacities for the promotion of eco-social entrepreneurship (ESE) and the development of non-formal education tools and methodologies. This will engage young people to engage ESE through the development of their soft, entrepreneurial and digital skills thus enabling behavioural changes for individual preferences, cultural values and awareness for sustainable development and lifestyles.
The project will produce four interwoven outputs:
Through implementing activities and producing four outputs it is planned to involve 600 individuals (from public, private and civil sectors), 250 youth practitioners and in the end 60 young people for pilot testing.
The partners on this project aim to establish an innovative framework in the field of digital youth education, based on non-formal education principles, such as game-based learning and role-model education. This inter-sectoral eco-social development will enable local organisations, youth practitioners and young people to actively contribute to smart, sustainable and inclusive development of targeted areas in Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Belgium and Cyprus.
This will enhance the partner’s capacity to develop and implement high-quality digital youth work that teaches and promotes ESE in partners’ countries.
ADP-Zid is a non-profit organization based in Podgorica in 1996. ADP-Zid’s mission is to promote and strengthen personal responsibility and active participation of young people, organizations and other stakeholders in society through the development and implementation of policies for social-oriented programs and services that contribute to the development and reconstruction of social capital in the community and improving the life quality of citizens and those who are at risk of social exclusion.
ADP-Zid develops and implements activities within the following programs: 1) Entrepreneurship and youth employment, 2) Innovation and creative industries 3) Housing program, 4) Activism and support in the community and 5) Counseling and services for citizens.
CEDRA Split is a non-profit organization based in Split, Croatia. The focus of the organization is on eco-social entrepreneurship, sustainable development, innovation, and raising social awareness. It collaborates with youth, local stakeholders, schools and school cooperatives, social enterprises, and civil society organizations, especially those dealing with marginalized/vulnerable social groups. Our goal is to create a socially responsible community in all segments of life, encourage young people to be active and develop social and civic competencies for the benefit of the community, and to strengthen the knowledge and skills needed for their own personal and professional development.
Diesis Network supports the development of the social economy, social entrepreneurship and social innovation worldwide through the implementation of knowledge-based activities, such as training, project design, consultancy and advisory services, technical assistance and research. Diesis is one of the widest EU networks specialised in supporting social economy and social enterprise development covering 25 countries through major national federations and national support networks associating more than 90,000 organisations and 1.2 million workers. Diesis is quoted by the European Parliament as a good practice example of fostering the institutional and social visibility of the social economy.
Diesis Network works in partnership with European thematic networks and platforms such as ETUC, REVES, Social Economy Europe and EMES. It is also a member of CECOP, ESSFI and Platform Cooperativism Consortium (PCC). Diesis also joined the recently created UNTFSSE, the United Nations Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy. Moreover, Diesis provides expertise to the ESF Social Economy Thematic Network, which assists Member States on the transnational aspects of the ESF.
Diesis Network takes part in the European Migration Forum, organised by the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee, a platform for dialogue between civil society and the European institutions on issues relating to migration, asylum and the integration of third-country nationals.

Amidst the evolving socio-cultural, environmental and economic challenges of our times, HUB Nicosia offers a safe and inclusive space for learning opportunities to strengthen green and sustainable solutions, democratic participation and active citizenship, youth employment and empowerment especially in the creative and cultural sector, entrepreneurial mindset and skills.
CDP „Globus“ is the first center for the development of social entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our mission is to promote and to encourage the development of social entrepreneurship towards reducing social exclusion, poverty and unemployment in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Core team is composed of highly motivated professionals and experts with significant experience in the field of human rights, social inclusion, employment and entrepreneurship. Out activists initiated and established the (first) Coalition for the development of social entrepreneurship “United We Can More”, informal network gathering organizations throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mladi ambasadori (Young Ambassadors) is a civil society organization established with an aim to strengthen the capacity of young people through including them in the development of local community. Activities of organization are based on three pillars: 1. Youth participation – providing opportunity for young people to active participate in the local community trough different activities and initiatives. 2. Social economy – providing incentive environment for social enterprisers and workers through advocacy, networking, education and promotion of business with social impact. 3. Innovations with impact – providing conditions for implementation of innovations (i.e. blockchain technology) which will provide positive impact for society and contribute to achievement of UN Sustainable development goals. For 8 years, Young Ambassadors implemented 49 projects and more than 300 educational workshops connected with personal and professional development of people from different social groups in community. Main activities are focused on culture and creative industries, entrepreneurship, social economy, market placement and sustainable development of local community through education, peer to peer communication, exchange of knowledge, digital transformation, and advance technologies.
Centre for Vocational Education and Training (VET Centre) as a developmental, advisory and research institution works on the establishment and improvement of the system of vocational education, training and excellency with the aim of developing individuals properly equipped for labour market, continuation of education and life-long learning, in line with their personal, social and economic need.
Being a contemporary and influential educational institution, the VET Centre has been recognized as a reliable partner by all relevant national and international actors, employing competent and motivated professionals who create the conditions for high-quality, flexible and efficient vocational and adult education, in compliance with the European standards.
Since 2003, the VET Centre has been working on the development of entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial competence via adequate programmes in formal and non-formal education, with the aim of attaining knowledge, skills and competences of young people in this area.
Local development Agency Prozor-Rama is a public company founded by local Municipal Council of Prozor-Rama Municipality.
Since 2015, we are working on local tourism, rural development, and other projects.
Our main goals are: monitor the priorities in the development of the municipality, prepare and implement projects, establish partnerships for projects, creating development strategies, directing the development of SME, building cooperation between the public, private and NGO sector.
Our motivation to become involved in Eco-Social Entrepreneurship project is reflected in wish to offer to youth a new perspective and opportunity through new skills and knowledge. Also, we want to promote the idea of eco-social entrepreneurship in municipality, region and country, because of its importance in creating new jobs, solving social problems and environmental protection.
