The Centre for Vocational Education and Training of Montenegro in cooperation with
organisations from the Western Balkan region (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus)
as well as with ADP- ZID from Montenegro has an aim to build capacities for the promotion of
eco-social entrepreneurship and to develop non-formal education tools and methodologies.
This will motivate young people to participate in eco-social entrepreneurship through
development of entrepreneurial and digital skills and this will contribute to the development of
the society and its sustainable development. The project is financed by European under the
Erasmus+ programme.
The project will produce four interwoven outputs:
1. E-book (Analysis)
2. Educational e-book (gamified ESE education)
3. Interactive web platform (Eco-SE-E-lab)
4. Online non-formal education training for youth practitioners.
Through the first result of the project the Interactive book” Analysis of eco-social
entrepreneurship, needs, recommendations and good practices” cutting-edge researches
were conducted, video interviews with young people, entrepreneurs, public institutions were
recorded and examples of good practices of eco-social entrepreneurs from around the world
were also selected.
This material has been translated into the national languages of all partners involved in the
project thus enabling young people to learn, understand and accept the concept of eco-social
entrepreneurship and to explore new ways of employment and contributions based on these
sustainable goals of society. During the research various regulations, national strategies,
publications and other documents adopted and developed in Montenegro were used as a
source of information. Many young people and representatives of institutions were involved in
video presentations and interviews were involved
The presentation of interactive book the Interactive book” Analysis of eco-social
entrepreneurship, needs, recommendations and good practices”
With an aim to promote the first result of the project the Centre for Vocational education
organized a roundtable for the students of secondary vocational schools where they presented
the first result of this project, the Interactive book “Analysis of eco-social entrepreneurship
needs, recommendations and good practices”.
Students were presented the information about:
1. The research and current state analysis of eco-social entrepreneurship in Montenegro.
2. The research on obstacles that prevent development of eco-social projects and activities
through social entrepreneurship
3. A good practice examples of the existing eco-social entrepreneurs in partner countries,
European Union and the world
At the roundtable students had the opportunity to watch video interviews about
entrepreneurial, digital competences and environmental protection measures.
A discussion was held with the students about the importance of digital competences for each
individual, the meaning of social, eco-social entrepreneurship.
